Our work in Latin America partners so well with their vision to ignite the church, that I have taken on the role of "Pioneer Faculty for Missions and Evangelism in the Americas" of the Dunamis Fellowship.
To advance our work in the Americas, mark your tax deductible donation "Mission to the Americas" and mail to

We are grateful to PRMI for providing that support.
The video (see our introduction video) continues to spread like wild fire.
Most people who see it have a different image of Panama. Because it’s off the typical tourist path, it’s often pre-conceived as a poor country, and that we live in a hut. Seeing the sky scrapers, the urban development, and images from the city, people seem to realize that we live in a city much like Miami FL. Some people are surprised we have modern conviences like Internet and VOIP phones.
We’ve continued to help mission teams as they come and we get connected with them.
I’ve made some great contacts that will continue to open further doors of ministry, including E3 partners here in Panama which hosts many teams from overseas.
I (Chris) got to preach in Spanish at my church in Richmond when I traveled up there for a brief visit. We received a surprisingly generous love offering towards the work of the ministry.
Our next scheduled event here in Panama is at the end of April, but discussions are in the works for more between here and there. We’ve connected with a church planter in a neighboring suburb and hope to be helping them in the near future with some of their evangelistic campaigns.
Next week, we are meeting with a church planter from Venezuela who will be here for a few days of meetings. We are hosting him in our condo, and hopefully our family will join him and a team in Venezuela in October (pray for our funding for that trip).
We’ve been surprised by generous love offerings, some "just in time" donations from unexpected sources, and for all of that, we are grateful.
My dad came to visit us in Panama during Holy Week and it was great to be with him.
Our church is adding a third service. The invitation is in Spanish, but it announcing the addition of the new service to our sunday morning line up.
I like the ad in it’s simplicity, much like a TV commerical, and giving it being on You Tube appeals to the viral natural of Web 2.0 to get the word out.
Yesterday was February 29. It was confirmed that I am preaching on Mar 2. Oops, in Spanish.
I knew this day would come, I was thinking it might come a little later and that perhaps I’d have more prep time.
It’s another important milestone. Last week, the first workshop in Spanish.
This week, my second sermon (my first was 6 months ago).
It’s been a great exercise, working on the vocabulary, trying to express myself and the words in my heart, to communicate what I know that the Lord has placed in there.
